Running since 1997. We currently conduct six of these auctions per year at our Suffolk auction house in Martlesham, near Ipswich, each offering between three to three and-a-half thousand lots over two days.

Our Fine Sale auctions offer a huge selection of antiques and other items, ranging from jewellery, watches and silver, to books, ceramics, artworks and vintage toys.

Lockdales' Fine Sale has become synonymous with auctioning some very fine examples of highly collectable watches, most recently a record-breaking sale of a rare Rolex Submariner wrist watch that achieved a hammer price of £230,000.

Banknotes are collected similarly to coins, with an eye for condition, but also an eye for the details unique to paper money.

Philately is one of our key areas of expertise, and our Suffolk auctions regularly offer an impressive selection of stamps and postal items. Cigarette cards and trade cards attract interest from worldwide collectors and antique sporting programmes command strong interest among collectors in our regular Suffolk auctions.
