Lockdales offers live online bidding via two leading online auction platforms: Easy Live Auction or The Saleroom. Both are leading online portals hosting live internet bidding via an online catalogue.

 

Live audio via the third-party platforms is available during all of our auctions in Suffolk, allowing you to listen to the auctioneer in session.

Additional fees

All bids made via The Saleroom are subject to a surcharge of 4.95% + VAT.

All bids made via Easy Live Auction are subject to either a surcharge of 3% + VAT or a one-off fixed pre-payment of £3.00 per auction.

Please note, these fees also apply to autobids/absentee bids placed via their websites. You can avoid paying these charges by choosing to leave absentee bids on the Lockdales website absolutely free of charge.

 

Using the live online platforms

The auction moves at a lively pace. Be sure you are confident using the online systems before the sale begins!​

To bid live online, you must register with either of the above platforms directly for an account. Your account registration will be confirmed via email once the 'pending approval' stage has been accepted which will be provided as soon as possible. Once you have an account, you will need to register to bid live in a sale.

Please ensure you create your account and register to bid in good time before the auction starts, to make sure your account has been accepted and you have had plenty of time to familiarise yourself with the platforms.
