IMPORTANT UPDATE: Viewing now Closed

Despite our wishes to remain open for viewing, in light of the recent announcement made by the Prime minister

it is with the greatest regret that we will no longer be able to keep our doors open to the public.

As from 24/03/2020 Lockdales will be closed to the public until further notice.

We urge you to use the online facilities to view as best you can and please call or email for any extra information you require. Our hard working staff are all doing everything they can to be as supportive and helpful as possible and we thank you all for your loyalty and patience. during these very difficult times.

Business as usual (almost..)

We have had to make the announcement today that the upcoming auction (March 28th - 29th) will now be held as an online auction only. For further information please click the red button at the bottom of this page.

Our Coins & Collectables Auction 175 on March 28th & 29th will go ahead as scheduled. Comprising 3,432 lots it’s going to be a big one and we are looking forward to a fantastic two day sale.

Hundreds of our clients are already familiar with conducting remote or online bidding. For those who are not, this may be as good a time as any to familiarise themselves to the various remote bidding options on offer, such as logging in to our website, mailing, emailing or simply just calling us to leave an absentee bid prior to auction day.

Live bidding either by phone or using one of the internet platforms is already the most popular option for many customers.

Absentee Bidding via our website

All our auctions are available for browsing directly on our website where online absentee bids can be made. Before you can leave an absentee bid, you will need to either log in or register on our website. Once you have an account, you can log in and leave a bid for any future sale. There is a slightly different procedure depending on whether you are a long standing customer already on our database or a brand new bidder, but they are both very easy and we can take you through it with our step by step guide.
