VIEWING 

We are pleased to announce that following the latest relaxation guidelines of lockdown, 

viewing, lot collections and valuation consultations are now available by appointment.

 

VIEWING by appointment only

To adhere to social distancing measures there will be a limited number of viewing booths available at any one time

  • Bookings will be allocated in hourly time-slots per booth with a maximum allowance of 4 hours.

  • One person permitted per booth without exception. Two people (e.g couples) must make two bookings.

  • Hand sanitiser, masks and gloves will be provided to visitors upon arrival and must be worn at all times.

  • Bookings may be made by phone or email

VALUATIONS by appointment only

  • Valuation consultations will be allocated in hourly slots. Please be on time.

  • To enable the smooth running of this system please call us (if possible) upon arrival from your mobile phone.

  • A maximum of two people will be permitted in a consultation (social distancing measures apply)

  • If you need help, our staff will carry your items to and from your vehicle.

  • Hand sanitiser, masks and gloves will be provided to visitors upon arrival and must be worn at all times.

  • Bookings may be made by phone or email

  • Home visit valuations can be arranged. Please call our offices

LOT COLLECTION by appointment only

  • Collection appointments will be allocated in 15 minute slots so please be on time.

  • If you miss your time-slot you will be asked to wait in the car park until the next free slot becomes available.

  • To enable smooth running please call us (if possible) upon arrival from your mobile phone.

  • Hand sanitiser, masks and gloves will be provided to visitors upon arrival and must be worn at all times.

  • Pre-Payments via BACS transfer or phone would be preferable but otherwise can be taken at the reception desk where there will be a safety screen installed.

  • Your items will be placed in one of our booths awaiting your inspection and collection.

  • Collections will not be possible during our auction days. 

  • Bookings may be made by phone or email.

LOT DROP-OFF by appointment only

  • Drop-off appointments will be allocated in 30 minute slots so please be on time.

  • If you miss your time-slot you will be asked to wait in the car park until the next free slot becomes available

  • To enable smooth running please call us (if possible) upon arrival from your mobile phone.

  • Only one person permitted per appointment

  • If you need help, our staff will carry your items to and from your vehicle.

  • Hand sanitiser, masks and gloves will be provided to visitors upon arrival and must be worn at all times.

  • Bookings may be made by phone or email.

Please call or email for any extra information you require. Our hard working staff are doing everything they can to be as supportive and helpful as possible and we thank you all for your loyalty and patience.

 

 

ONLINE AUCTIONS

To ensure the safety of our staff and customers, other than the services mentioned above, Lockdales will remain closed to the public until further notice. It will not be possible to attend in person on the auction days.

Bidding will take place entirely online, or by postal/commission bids, or via telephone.

These measures will stay in place until the current events have passed. We look forward to doing continued business with you all and thank you all for your consideration at this time.

We want to reassure those of you who will be bidding online for the first time that once you have registered, you will discover how easy and convenient remote/online bidding is. Although both auction platforms will incur charges, the best value by far is the fixed £3 up-front fee for bidding online via EasyLive.
