A POCKETFUL OF PISTOLS

Just consigned at a local Valuation Roadshow Day this week. A 1790s flintlock pistol; an 1840s pepperbox revolver made by Stocking and Co, Worcester; and a circa 1810 percussion pistol, also known as an American Saloon Gun, by Deringer of Philadelphia. Our valuer, James Sadler, said ‘These pistols are likely to attract a lot of interest amongst collectors, as they are all highly quality weapons in good condition’. These three antique pistols are part of a private gun collection that will come under the hammer at our next Coins, Militaria and Paper Collectables auction in November.
