Lot 55 in our 19th May sale of medals & militaria was a Boer War soldier's gift tin from Queen Victoria containing 12 bars of Cadbury's chocolate, preserved about as well as could be expected. This caught the imagination of the media, and managed to appear all over local and national news, radio and even television!
