We have had a hectic week at Lockdales with our latest Fine Sale auction on Wednesday and Thursday totalling sales of £333,000 (including premiums). Buyers were particularly keen to bid on jewellery, watches, silverware and objects of virtue. Victorian jewellery and vintage watches proved especially popular. A stunning 18ct gold, sapphire and diamond cluster ring (pictured below) hammered down at £1100 on Day 1 of the auction. One of the many highlights on Day 2 was a classic gents Omega Speedmaster automatic wristwatch which sold for £3,000.
