Royal Chairs

Original chairs from the Coronation of KGVI and Investiture of Charles, Prince of Wales.

Coming up for sale in our auction of Antiques & Collectables (and paper collectables), 30-31 August, lots 1070 and 1074 (day 2). These are original chairs from the Coronation of King George VI at Westminster Abbey in 1937, and the Investiture of Charles, Prince of Wales (currently King Charles III) at Caernarfon Castle in 1969. These among other items of royal memorabilia are just two of the highlights in this fascinating auction.
