Rare Chinese Platinum

Coming up in our 10-11 September coin sale:

Lockdales has had consigned a set of very rare Chinese platinum proof coins from the Inventions & Discoveries series. Estimated at £40,000 to £50,000, previous graded sets have sold between $96,000 to $180,000 (!) in Hong Kong and L.A. sales. Few such sets or individual coins have ever been offered. These had a mintage of just 100 pieces each.
