From a Galaxy Far, Far Away...

On our recent travels we were lucky enough to pick up what seems to be an original Imperial Stormtrooper's helmet, reportedly from Elstree Studios, where much of the shooting for the original Star Wars trilogy was performed.

This item has a strong air of authenticity about it. The interior, which in this case is unpainted, displays the "khaki-green" plastic as described by original prop maker Andrew Ainsworth. The protective foam deployed within is consistent with previously sold examples. We look forward to seeing what this tremendously exciting piece will achieve in our next auction of Antiques & Collectables.
