Lot 546: Natural Ceylon sapphire and diamond set pendant, one cushion mixed cut vivid violetish blue sapphire, weight approx 11.03ct, no evidence of heat treatment, clarity appears clean under unaided eye, origin Sri Lanka (Ceylon), surrounded with fourteen round brilliant cut diamonds total weight approx 2.00ct, estimated colour approx G-H, estimated clarity approx SI, complete with AnchorCert gem lab jewellery report dated March 2020, yellow gold (tests 18ct). Est. £12K-£13K, hammer £17,500.
Lot 888: 19th century massive Irish silver tankard, profusely embossed with flowers and rococo scrolls plus 2 embossed faces, all in the Irish taste, this embossing looks original to the period - hallmarked I.L.B. for James Le Bas or Bass,(also stamped with the Retailer's mark for WEST), Dublin, 1817, marked with the same Maker's mark (I.L.B.)on the lid and base. Height 9.25 inches approx, width of base 6.5 inches approx. Weighs 1.946kg (68.4 oz approx). Est. £1200-£1800, hammer £3800.
