Lot 1675: Kings Messenger Badge WIVR, silver gilt (hallmarked London 1831) with Royal Crown above and pendant silver Greyhound below, obverse with painted Royal Arms and WIVR cypher, reverse engraved 'Thos Driver'. Small area of damaged noted to painted shield. Thomas Driver is London Gazetted as a Messenger for the Home Service - Colonial Office 1833. Estimate £1200 - £1400. Hammer £2600

Carl Giles. Original pen and ink art work “Vote for Keeler” “Lowbrow Farm Suffolk” “ Gone but not forgotten”. Dated 1963. This superb piece relates to the infamous Profumo Affair involving Christine Keeler, and 1963 was the height of the scandal when Keeler sat astride a chair for a promotional photo shoot at Peter Cooks Establishment Club.
