Our 6th December, one day Fine Sale turned up some fantastic results. Yet again Rolex watches went for high prices such as £11,000 hammer for a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer, and £15,000 hammer for a Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master Superlative Chronometer c.1966. Keep an eye out for butterscotch amber, as a 24-inch string of beads estimated at £200 to £300 went for £2200. The Victory Copper bust of Nelson estimated at £300 to £500 went for £1900 hammer, a patriotic piece. The Lowry lithograph, Lot 672, went for £5200 hammer, and the 'Braaq' original oil achieved £6400. Brian Shields 'Braaq' 1951-1997 was known as the 'Liverpool Lowry'.

Our next auction will be Coins & Collectables 27-28 January 2018. Consignment open until 8th December.

The next Fine Sale of jewellery, watches, art and antiques will be 21-22 February 2018. Consignment open until 12 January.
