Medals & Militaria Auction 80: September 19th 2010 Click on blue lot numbers to see illustrations. Unfortunately, due to the amount of advanced forgeries of German medals, orders, and decorations currently on the market, we have had to enact the following policy: Whereas we take the utmost care to insure that all German military items in our sales are authentic, we cannot guarantee this in all cases. All German military collectables in our sales are now considered sold ‘as seen’, and cannot be returned under any circumstance, even if found to be inauthentic. It is at your own risk to assess the authenticity of such items before bidding. Please do not let this deter you from bidding; as in the majority of cases there is no question of the authenticity of items in our sales. It is better to view such items in person. m |
