Athletics Official's Medallions & Plaques (8) an assortment presumed all to be those of Joe Binks (as a couple are named to him) some are silver. Joe Binks was a cross-country runner who at one time held the 'mile record'. He evidently became an athletics official, and is also known to have been a sports reporter. These medals include a Berlin Olympics 1936 silvered base metal medallion (sponsored by Koln Glockengasse), plaques in recognition of services. Medals range from Europe, USA and Australia.
