Folding socket-type candle-stick, thought to be from the 14th. century, a rare item which was discussed in the Searcher magazine of May 1996, p.26 where it was stated that there are only 5 known, the present piece looks to be in working order and has 'circle enclosing pellet' punched decoration, a nice example
